Wednesday Hodgepodge - November 16, 2011

1. What song reminds you of a specific time in your life and what is it about that song that makes you remember?
Oh geez…I’m ashamed to admit this. 2Pac’s “Keep Ya Head Up”. TLC’s “Creep”.  SWV’s “Weak”. Jodeci’s  “Come and Talk to Me”. Shai’s “If I Ever Fall in Love”. Laugh it up. I wasn’t known as ghetto for nothing. These were all songs that I listened to in high school.

2. What's something you've given up on?
Figuring everything out – unpacking all of the boxes (we’re just gonna rent a storage unit or toss it out the window or over the banister on the deck)

3. What's something you'll never give up on?
Actually selling the stuff in the totes which are currently in our guest bath tub. No, I’m NOT posting a picture! It’s pitiful. But that is the only place I had to put my “sell pile”. Anyone want to give PartyLite pieces for Christmas? I’ll see it REAL cheap!

4. If you had to cook something from scratch in the next hour what would it be?
Either Beef Stroganoff, Maple Glazed Salmon, or Poppy Seed Chicken Casserole because that’s what I bought ingredients for at the grocery store that I have left on this week’s meal plan.

5. Have you started Christmas shopping? Decorating? Listening to Christmas music?
No. No. Only when I’m at the mall – which insists on playing it non-stop (since the day after Halloween!) Thanksgiving – it can start after Thanksgiving.

6. What do you know about your parent's wedding?
Not a lot. It happened. There are pictures to prove it. My mom made her dress. Yep…that’s pretty much all I know.

7. I can't believe I ___________________.
…”I can fly!” HA! Couldn’t resist! I believe I can do all things through Christ. I believe that God equips people that He calls. I believe that God heals.

8. Insert your own random thought here.
This was on my sis-in-law’s wish list – isn’t it beautiful. I hope she gets it and lets me borrow it!

Wednesday Hodgepodge - November 9, 2011

If you're stopping by from Joyce's Wednesday Hodgepodge, welcome. If you want to link up or read other's entries, click on the logo above.

1. Of all the tools and gadgets you own which do you most enjoy using?
I really enjoy my Nook Color and my smart phone. I most certainly use my smart phone more. Ok, so i should rewind - I love my smart phone NOW. I have an HTC Droid Incredible 2. I did NOT, however, enjoy my previous smart phone - looking at you stupid Motorola Devour - it wasn't very smart!

2. When (if ever) is impatience a virtue?
Ok, so I am going to tell you this, but you can't tell anyone that I said it. Deal? Coming from a girl who did NOT receive the gift of patience, I have begun to cultivate the smidgen that I did have. I honestly cannot think of any instance where impatience has served me well. Sssshhhhhh! Don't tell anyone I said that - you'll ruin my reputation!

3. What temperature do you keep your thermostat set to in winter? Do you have another way to heat your house besides a furnace of some type?
Right now it's at 60 something (Precious set it and I don't care to be chilly - especially when I sleep) and that's probably where it will stay. No other source of heat here.

4. Do/did you have a close relationship with any of your grandparents?
My grandparents have all passed away, but yes, I was super close to my maternal grandparents. I wish so much that I would've thought when I was younger to ask more questions - pay closer attention. Hindsight is 20/20, eh?

5. When did you last have a family portrait taken?
HA! So, I'm 33 and we just had a family portrait made before Precious and I married in October.

6. What does the word patriotism mean to you?
Devotion and loyalty to your country - my grandfather was a WWII veteran and he LOVED this country and everything that it stood for. He didn't always agree with everything, but he was PROUD to be an American.

I think that we sometimes take this country for granted. Even as bad as some things ARE, we still have it so much better than the majority of the people who reside on Earth.

I think patriotism is simply being PROUD to be an American and acting like it.

7. Do you like to play cards and if so, what's your favorite card game?
Not a huge card player. I did play a card game called Jokers and Pegs the other night and it was fun! Anyone else ever played? I had never heard of it until that night.

8. Insert your own random thought here.
Things that suck about moving to a new city and state - finding a place to have your hair and your nails done! My nails look AWFUL! What's a girl to do?

Wednesday Hodgepodge - September 28, 2011

1. It is officially fall here in North America...I realize not everyone who participates in the Hodgepodge lives in North America but if you do, what's your favorite memory of Summer 2011? If you're not in North America, what's your favorite memory of the season just ending on your side of the world?

The fact that it's over? I really don't like summer...it makes me cranky when it's hot.

2. Your favorite nut? You know I mean the edible kind, right?

I like cashews and pecans. Almonds are ok too, but I probably like pecans most.

3. What activity puts your sense of balance to the test?

Yoga. It's a waste of time for me. I spend more time getting back up after I fall over than I do staying in those crazy poses.

4. How would you describe your sense of humor?

warped?

5. September 28th is National Ask a Stupid Question Day...what's your stupid question?

Why did Donald Duck always wear a towel when he got out of the shower even though he never wore pants?

6. Roller skates~hula hoop~jump rope...which activity would you most enjoy? Yes, you have to choose.

All are bad ideas for me. I'm a CLUTZ! I think I would most enjoy roller skating if I could do it without breaking something.

7. What's your most sentimental possession?

A music box and a hall tree from my late grandmother.

8. Insert your own random thought here.

12 days until the move. 17 days until the wedding. Moving 5 days before the wedding...CRAZY! In my defense, we weren't given a choice. It wasn't like I said, "Hey, I don't have enough to do. Let's move this stuff from Illinois to Ohio just a few days before the wedding. That should liven things up a bit!" I think God just enjoys seeing me squirm.

Wednesday Hodgepodge - September 21

It's been a while since I've linked up to Hodgepodge. Something about getting married and moving 600 miles away makes for a pretty busy schedule. Blogging unfortunately is not always at the top of the priority list.

1. Do you like chili? Red or white? Beans or no beans? Spice or no spice? Toppings?
I LOVE chili! I like all kinds of chili. I think white chicken chili is my new favorite. I like for chili to be a little spicy and if I am eating tomato based chili, I like to top it with sour cream and shredded cheese.

2. Red~Orange~Gold...your favorite fall color?
I LOVE fall and all of the colors. I am getting married October 15th and we are decorating with fall colors at the reception. The table centerpieces are full of beautiful jewel tones. I think my favorites are the deep reds and deep purples.

3. Who did you idolize when you were growing up?
Debbie Gibson. Don't hate. Don't judge. I LOVED me some Debbie Gibson. I totally wanted to be her.

4. When was the last time you did something 'arts and craftsy'? Share please.
Oh please...I'm all about some arts and craftsy stuff. I like to scrapbook, but lately my projects have been a little more tailored to home stuff. Do these count as arts and craftsy:

5. What's a place that makes you really nervous?
The OB-GYN office makes me uneasy. Something about knowing you're going to be violated just makes me a little nervy.

The county fair - there are a LOT of people there and I really don't like people that much.

The mall parking lot anytime the month before Christmas.

6. Horse back riding...yay or nay (neigh?)
It's ok. I haven't been in a long time. When I was younger, we owned horses. My cousin Gail and I used to ride quite a bit.

7. What is your favorite cliche?
Hope against Hope

8. Insert your own random thought here.
Tomorrow the movers are coming to 'evaluate the situation'. I fear they are going to be like, "oh. my. goodness. How do two people accumulate so much stuff?" We have things in 3 places: my house, his house, and my studio. Please pray that they will be willing to go to all 3 places to keep us from having to transport anything.

Also, the school that I taught at for the past 6 years is currently dealing with a terrible loss-a 13 year old boy committed suicide. One of my former students. Please pray for the kids as they deal with all of their unanswered questions, as well as his family. I can't imagine what they're feeling.

Wednesday Hodgepodge - July 27, 2011

1. July is National Ice Cream month...your favorite flavor? Soft served, hand dipped, or frozen yogurt...which do you prefer? And technically yogurt is not ice cream but its hot outside so I'll let that slide for today.
I love ice cream! I love ice cream! Rah! Rah! Rah! I like vanilla, but I have recently discovered Kroger's Private Selection and I like Butter Pecan, English Toffee Caramel, Sea Salt Caramel Truffle, and Cookie Dough. I really just like ice cream. I'll pretty much eat any ice cream you give me.

I love frozen custard too! We recently got a Culver's. YUMMMMMMY!

2. When you travel do you tend to pack too much or too little?
HA! Are you kidding me? I ALWAYS pack just the right amount (however, most people would probably say too much). A couple years ago I went to a conference and I had to fly, so one suitcase was ideal. Except one suitcase was NOT enough for all of my stuff UNTIL...until I found space bags. Pretty easy to squish stuff in them. Suck the air out with a vacuum cleaner and pack. I DID think about what I was going to do when I repacked, but I thought, "certainly I can find a vacuum where I'm staying" - except NOT. So, I laid on the bags, squishing as much as I could and I sucked the air out during my last attempt to lay on the Space Bags. It was sad! I DID get everything back in my suitcase, thought. Go me!

3. What's your favorite cleaning product?
If we're talking old school things that clean really well: Vinegar and Baking Soda.

If we're talking ones that you purchase: Method's All-Purpose Cleaner (Pink Grapefruit)

4. Which is the greater tragedy-an innocent person imprisoned or a guilty person set free? Explain.
That's tough. I think I'm gonna go with an innocent person imprisoned being the greater tragedy. A guilty person set free may feel like they've won the lottery, but I honestly believe that God repays evil for evil. I don't like the idea of a guilty person being set free, but I think the idea of an innocent person being imprisoned bothers me more.

5. What's the longest trip you've taken by car?
NYC by bus - 24 hours. SHOOT ME! NEVER AGAIN! It was a college trip. Our music department took enough people to fill an entire bus. The trip was good, the ride was miserable. And THEN we had to come back.

6. tennis-golf-canoeing-biking...pick one.
umm...none of the above. I don't particularly care for outdoor activities. I suck at tennis and golf. My dad always tipped the canoe, so I refuse to get in one - EVER. Biking. HA! BAHAHAHAHA! Right!

7. What sound drives you crazy?
Clicking. Like when someone sits around clicking an ink pen.
The lawn mower at 7AM.

8. Insert your own random thought here.
Ok, so I totally tried baking bacon in the oven. My aunt told me that's how she did it, so when we decided to have BLTs I thought I would try it. I HATE to fry bacon. It pops and you smell like bacon when you're done and you have to stand over it and turn.
I will NEVER fry bacon again! I placed it on a broiler pan and baked it at 400 degrees for about 20-30 min (until it's brown and crispy - probably depends on your oven and the thickness of the bacon). The grease drained down. So easy and clean-up was too. Try it!

Wednesday Hodgepodge - July 13, 2011

Joyce over at From This Side of the Pond hosts this great link party every week. Click on the logo above to hop over and link up!

1. How has your hometown changed since you were a kid? What has changed most about the neighborhood you grew up in?
It seems like a lot has changed, but I also have to wonder if it's just me that has changed. My hometown is really small. We have a small library (it has moved to a new building since I was a kid), a post office, a bank, a volunteer fire department, a barber shop and a park with a ball diamond. It's all still there, so I guess things really having changed all that much. I guess it IS just me!

2. What song makes you laugh?
Are we talking about silly songs? Songs that are so ridiculous they make me laugh?
If we're talking silly songs, I'm a huge fan of Veggie Tales and Silly Songs with Larry - a personal favorite is "I Love My Lips".  Songs that are so ridiculous they make me laugh: The Thong Song by Sisquo (remember that one?) and the first year I was at Cairo teaching,my kids like a song called Chicken Noodle Soup - also mad me laugh because it was so ridiculous.

3. Are you a fan of Harry Potter? Read the books? Seen any/all of the movies? Will you be standing in line somewhere close to midnight later this week? For those of you playing along today who live outside the US or UK is Harry Potter a phenomenon in your part of the world?
No. No. No. No. I don't have anything against Harry Potter - just not my thing.

4. If the truth hurts, will you tell a lie? Are we better off as a society in a world that allows no form of deception whatsoever?
Woah - that's pretty deep. I HAVE lied to keep people from being hurt (a little white lie is still a lie) and thinking back, I'm not so sure that I really helped the situation or protected anyone by lying. I really do believe that the truth will set you free and that deception generally leads to disappointment. I can't tell you how disappointed I was to find out that there was no Santa (OHHHH - you didn't know....ooops!).

5. What is your favorite 'sauteed in garlic and butter' food? Or garlic and olive oil if that makes you feel better.
Chicken that's going to go in alfredo. I can't wait to see what everyone else likes to cook. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

6. Attending any reunions this summer/year? High school? family? Other? Do these events stir up excitement or dread?
I HATE reunions! BLUH! I don't know why I loathe them, but its a rarity for me to attend these glorious events.

7. Lilac, hydrangea, peony...pick one.
Hydrangea.

8. Insert your own random thought here.
Planning a wedding is a pain in the butt! Why would anyone want to spend this much time planning an event that is only going to last a few hours (reception and all)? Bride-zillas, chill the freak out. It's not that serious. I just can't help but think that a lot of marriages may last longer if the time spent planning the marriage equaled the time spent planning the wedding. Thoughts?

Wednesday Hodgepodge - July 6, 2011

1. What is the most useful book in your house?
My Nook has proven pretty useful - it has a lot of books. Does that count as 1 book? I also have 3 household books that I really like:
Martha Stewart's Homekeeping Handbook
Real Simple: The Organized Home
Real Simple: 869 Uses for Old Things

2. What's worse-being too hot or too cold?
Too hot. I can keep putting on layers if I'm cold but if I'm hot I can shed everything, be indecent and STILL be hot! Just sayin'!

3. Share something that made you smile this past weekend.
Future SIL's bday was on the 4th. We got her a gift certificate but I also made her a casserole carrying dish from a tutorial she had sent me about a month ago and she was really excited about it. (Note: I am NOT a sew-er, but I'm trying to get better). It made me smile to know that she enjoyed it that much! Plus we had a fabulous day! I haven't laughed that much in a LONG time!

4. How do you like your hamburgers? Or don't you?
I don't like mustard! I would rather have it with cheese and perhaps mayo and pickles.

5. What's your summer beach read? If its not summer in your part of the world then tell us what book you're reading while curled yo in front of the fire sipping cocoa.
Right now I'm reading The Fitting Room by Kelly Minter.

6. How was your birthday celebrated when you were a kid?
We almost always had a party (always cake - usually made by my mom to my specifications) and after we got a pool I sometimes got a pool party if it was warm enough (My birthday is May 15.).

7. What is something that is totally uncool that you love anyway?
I *heart* Bon Jovi! Sick, I know, but I still love him!

8. So, I have a lot of family coming to stay at my house tonight. They are all going on a 2 week motorcycle trip out west...yes, the word crazy has come up quite a few times. My mom and dad did it a couple of years ago, but now half of my dad's family are attempting this together. Pray, people, pray!

Thought-Provoking Thursday Questions
Come back tomorrow and link up.

1. Do you think crying is a sign of weakness of strength?
2. What sustains you on a daily basis?
3. What do you do to relieve stress?

Wednesday Hodgepodge - June 29, 2011

1. What makes you stand to your feet and cheer?
The National Anthem sang well with all of the correct words (Christina, I'm looking at you!).

2. What's your favorite patriotic song?
I am not a huge band person, but I really like John Phillip Sousa's "Stars and Stripes Forever".

3. Do you believe that opposites attract? If you have a significant other are you opposites?
Precious and I are most certainly opposites! It's kinda funny how things work out, though - we compliment each other really well. His strengths are my weaknesses and my strengths are his weaknesses. Yep, I do think that opposites attract in some areas, but I also think that life has to run a little more smoothly when you share the same belief systems regarding things like faith/religion. I mean, marriage is 2 becoming one...you can't be at opposite ends of the spectrum on absolutely everything and technically be 'one', now can you?

4. You're going to get a behind the scenes look someplace...where would you like that someplace to be?
I am tempted to say Swamp People, but they FREAK ME OUT, so nevermind! I think I would like a behind the scenes look at Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

5. How far would you have to travel to ride a carousel (merry-go-round)?
St. Louis (about 2 1/2 hours) or I could wait until later this summer and ride at the fair (but that one is dinky). I honestly don't think that there is one any closer. We used to have one in our local mall but it has since been replaced with a jumpy, bungee thing (L.A.M.E.).

6. When was the last time you saw fireworks? What was the occasion? Do you enjoy fireworks?
We watch fireworks every 4th of July - it's my future sis-in-law's bday, so we party like rock stars all day (yeah right) then go and sit in the cemetery to watch the city fireworks display (yes, I said cemetery - don't judge - best seat in town and there are about 250 other people there with us - yes, I know its a little strange...ok, a LOT strange, but that's how we do it!)

7. Of all the 'beauty products' you own, what item do you consider to be the most overpriced?
Buxom Mascara ($18) and Sugar Lip Balm ($22.50). Perhaps I need to change my beauty regimen. Yea, I don't see that happening!

8. Insert your own random thought here.
Does anyone else hate preparing for a yard sale? I mean, I want to get rid of my crap, but I HATE sorting, I HATE pricing. Dear yard sale crap that I am selling - if you could sort and price yourself that would be great. Thanks, The Management.

Wednesday Hodgepodge - June 15, 2011

1. What is one thing on your bucket list? If you don't have a bucket list let's pretend you do.
I actually did a Bucket List
last August. Some of the stuff can be marked off. Go me! I think the thing that still stands out most to me as something I would really love to do it visit France, Ireland and Italy.
2. What makes a good dad?
A man who sets a Godly example for his children.
3. Are you afraid of insects? Which ones?
I HATE BUGS! Flying ones are the worst! In fact, if one is in the car with me, I will pull the car off of the road and abandon ship. The bug can have the car!

4. We're barbecuing...what's on the grill at your house?
Whatever Precious puts there - I don't grill. This past weekend, we had brats, burgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob (LOVE LOVE LOVE sweet corn on the grill), and zucchini.
5. Do you believe that playing is more important than winning?
Absolutely. I don't think the victory comes by winning "the game", but rather how you play "the game". There's a lot to be said for someone who plays well.

6. Do you tan? Use self tanners? Visit tanning salons? See your dermatologist at least once a year?
No. No. No. and No. I am pasty white and will probably always be. I used to tan nicely when I was younger, but something happened and now I just seem to burn (even with sunblock) and then peel. Repeat. UGH!

7. Five years ago I would never imagine that today I would_______________.
have my own voice studio, actually be getting married, or that I would have all of the aches and pains that I do. Getting old sucks! Seriously, though, life is good and I've learned to roll with the punches. You take the good, you take the bad and you trust God through it all.

8. Insert your own random thought here.

Wednesday, June 1, 2011

Wednesday Hodgepodge - June 1, 2011

1. Have you ever been to the US capital-Washington DC? If so, what's your favorite site? If not, what would you most like to see on a visit to that city someday in the future? Is it even on your list of places to visit?
I have flown into Dulles but that is the closest I have been. If I were to visit DC, I would want to go when the cherry blossoms are in bloom (when is that, by the way?). I'm not a huge history buff, but I would like to go to the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

2. When did you last attend a wedding? Are there any weddings on your summer calendar? Were you a summer bride? If you're single, is summer the season of your dream wedding?
Last wedding: June of last year. Outside. Hot. In an open field, surrounded by trees which were blocking any breeze. OMGsh....so freakin' hot. I actually don't know if that was the last wedding I attended, but it's the last one I remember. I have a wedding to attend on June 18, but it's indoors (Praise Jesus!). My wedding will be this coming October. I'm praying for 65 degrees. Did I mention outdoor weddings at the end of June are a bad idea unless you live in Alaska?

3. What is your favorite way to eat strawberries?
Mashed strawberries and sugar on sugared pie crust topped with whipped cream. So. Yummy.

4. What is one thing you are especially looking forward to this summer?
Not having to teach school. Of course I still will teach at the studio, but I set my own hours there. I'm looking forward to finishing up wedding plans and spending time with friends and family since I will not have to work every day. I am NOT digging the heat, though. I want to live somewhere that never gets above 80 degrees.

5. Do you use/like the self checker at the grocery store?
Most days I like the self checker. Well, I like the self checker when it works. However, I typically only use it when I have a few items. If I have a cart full, I would prefer to go through a lane with a human being (other than myself) doing the checking out.

6. Share a favorite piece of common sense advice.
Engage your brain before you open your mouth. (I'm still working on this. Some days are better than others.)

7. Barefoot, flip flops, tennis shoes, sassy sandals-your first choice for summertime?
I would prefer barefoot if I'm inside and flip flops if I am going out, but I am having problems with one of my feet (plantar fasciitis) so I need to wear supportive shoes and ortho inserts don't exactly fit into flip flops. I'm 33. Why do I need ortho inserts?

8. Insert your own random thought here.
Cancer sucks! The end.

Wednesday Hodgepodge - May 25, 2011

1. What is something about living in this country that you value?'This country' is whatever country you call home.
I really love the freedom that comes from living in the US. I think we often take so many of our liberties for granted. Women have far more opportunities here than they do in so many countries. I also value the freedom to worship my God without fear of persecution.

2. What is a favorite something you own that is red, white, and/or blue?
Our flag. It represents so many things. My grandfather was a WWII veteran and adored the flag.

3. Do you fly a flag at your house on patriotic holidays?
We fly a flag at our house every day. It's a pretty big deal to my family. It represents lives lost, freedom gained, sacrifices made and bravery.

4. What ingredients do you think should be included in a great picnic basket?
First of all, I think one should have a picnic basket (and I do not). If I had a picnic basket and I liked to be outside with the bugs (which I do not), I'm not sure what I would put in it. I would be worried about food spoiling. OCD...what can I say?

5. What is one interesting piece of trivia you know? Interesting is of course a relative term.
Are you kidding me? Precious needs to answer this question. He's fully of useless information - uh, I mean, he knows a lot of stuff that no one ever needs to know - uh, I mean...ummm...he's smart! Me, however, I know nothing and if I did I've already forgotten it. Sad, isn't it?

6. Wednesday, May 24th is National Escargot day...have you ever tried them? Eww or ooh?
"Slippery little suckers..." Never tried them and that doesn't really make me sad at all.

7. What is one thing you know for sure?
I know that "No one knows the day or the hour..." - Matthew 24:36
I know that the guy who predicted the end of the world this week obviously forgot to read that verse. Awkward.

8. Insert your own random thought here.
Don't want to deal with this stupid bad weather. Tornado=BAD.

Wednesday, May 18, 2011

Wednesday Hodgepodge - May 18, 2011

1. What reveals more about a woman-her refrigerator or her purse?
her purse - other people can be responsible for the fridge contents

My purse says I'm prepared for anything. Well, I'm typically prepared (with the exception of when I want to carry my cute small Coach bag and I must down size - the last time I did that my Precious 'needed' everything that I had taken out of my 'prepared for anything' bag).
Right now, 3 sets of keys (don't judge. don't ask.), ipod, camera, coupons, sunglasses, cell phone, car charge, wallet, 2 checkbooks, 2 pens, 1 notepad, nook, comb, nasal spray, lotion, 2 lip glosses, lip balm, glasses cleaning kits, a bag with a little bit of everything (tide stick, nail clippers, nail file, band-aids, various medications, toothpicks), small tupperware container with random pain medications. I'm tired of digging through my purse...you get the picture - it's out of control!

2. When was the last time you went to the zoo? Where? What's your favorite zoo animal?
hmm...I think it was with kate for her birthday in 2008. We went to the St. Louis Zoo. (it was for her 27th birthday - oh yea, we know how to have a good time.

I like penguins and giraffes, but I think the polar bear is my favorite. Lots of personality. He loved to pose for pics.

3. What social issue fires you up?
Currently, education issues. I really want some of those people who are making decisions to have to teach for a few months before they even speak about education. I am not sure how they think they could possibly know what is best. Stupid government!

4. Are you a coupon clipper? If so, are you extreme?
Yes, I clip. Some weeks are better than others. I really like to see the total go down at the grocery store, but I don't carry shoe boxes full of coupons and I don't buy 27 bottles of mustard in a shopping trip. That's just crazy!

5. What is one of your favorite souvenirs brought back from your travels?
I don't know that I have a favorite souvenir. In fact, I can't recall any souvenirs that I have...perhaps because my memory sucks or perhaps it's because I usually don't buy things on vacation unless I can use them later. I bought a shoe tree, storage containers, clothes, shoes...I really like to shop, but I don't like crap to just sit around. Then you have to dust around it and that's just crazy!

6. Lemon meringue or key lime?
YES?!? I am the queen of sweets and when I was younger I didn't care for either, but now I would eat both of them...probably the whole thing if I could get away with it. Great, I'm really hungry now. Is it ok to eat pie at 8AM?

7. What is the most beautiful word you know in any language?
beautiful because I like the way the word sounds: shalom (peace)
beautiful because it means beautiful: bonita

8. Insert your own random thought here.
I have been having a lot of 'squirrel' moments lately. Have you seen the movie UP? Remember the dog that was distracted by everything? Yep, that's me. Anyone else have frequent 'squirrel' moments?
