Thanks for the heads-up about the knives. I really need some new ones. That's a great price. German=engineered, but are they made in China? That's the question!
I bought a set of KitchenAid knives the other day from the same site. Faberware is a good brand and they're full tang - which is most certainly a necessity if you want them to last.
However, I don't know about the made in China/German engineered...
